Arabic Copywriter

About the Role

moomoo is seeking an Arabic Copywriter based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves developing compelling content that connects financial markets with local cultural nuances for Moomoo Arabia Capital. The Copywriter will serve as the brand's voice, aiming to resonate with investors ranging from new traders to experienced market participants.

Core Responsibilities

This position encompasses two primary areas of responsibility:

1. Localization: Adapting English-language marketing materials from the global team into Saudi Arabic, focusing on recreation for the local context rather than direct translation.

• Adapt brand campaigns, product messaging, and promotional content from English to Saudi Arabic.
• Ensure financial terminology is accurate, Shariah-sensitive where necessary, and sounds natural.
• Maintain the brand's tone of voice ("confident, concise, never patronizing") while adapting to local cultural codes.
• Challenge source copy when direct adaptation is ineffective and propose alternatives that achieve the same strategic intent.
• Collaborate with the China-based marketing team to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps.

1. Original Content Creation: Producing original Arabic-first copy across various marketing channels and formats.

• Brand advertising: Develop headlines, taglines, and scripts for brand campaigns (OOH, video, social).
• Performance advertising: Create short-form ad copy for platforms such as Google, Twitter/X, TikTok, Snapchat, and Apple Search Ads.
• KOL/Influencer: Write video scripts and talking points for collaborations with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Website & App: Produce content for landing pages, onboarding flows, feature descriptions, and in-app messaging.
• SEO content: Develop blog posts, educational articles, and evergreen content optimized for Arabic search.
• Social media: Create organic posts, campaign copy, and community engagement content.
• CRM: Write push notifications, email sequences, and SMS messages with a respectful, non-transactional tone.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 3+ years of relevant experience in copywriting, particularly within financial markets or a related field requiring cultural adaptation and persuasive writing.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring collaboration with both local and international teams.
