About the Role

A well-established multidisciplinary architectural and engineering consultancy based in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Architect Engineer Team Lead. This full-time position involves leading architectural teams and overseeing the successful delivery of projects from concept design through construction documentation. The firm is known for its technical expertise and commitment to design excellence, partnering with public and private sector clients across Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of architects, promoting collaboration and technical excellence.
• Manage the architectural design process across all project stages, from concept to construction documentation.
• Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables for quality and compliance.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other multidisciplinary teams for integrated design solutions.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure adherence to the Saudi Building Code, local regulations, and industry standards.
• Monitor project schedules, resources, and design deliverables for timely execution.
• Support value engineering initiatives and provide technical solutions for design challenges.
• Drive continuous improvement in design quality, team performance, and project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• A minimum of 8 years of professional architectural experience.
• Proven experience in leading design teams.
• Previous experience within an Architectural or Engineering Consultancy is essential.
• Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction documentation, and project coordination.
• Proficiency in Revit and solid BIM coordination experience.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi Building Code and local authority approval processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering commercial, residential, mixed-use, or large-scale developments is highly preferred.
