About the Role

Jobskey is seeking an Architect to join their team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, hands-on production role within a Development Studio, ideal for an architect early in their career with 0-1 years of experience. The position offers an opportunity to work client-side, focusing on how design decisions translate into development value rather than a traditional consultancy role.

Role Context and Focus

The successful candidate will contribute to concept studies, massing options, area schedules, test fits, and presentation materials for live development projects. This role provides exposure to the commercial aspects of development, allowing the architect to understand the broader impact of design choices on project value.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce concept drawings, massing studies, plans, sections, and 3D models under the direction of the Studio Head.
• Prepare area schedules and ensure the accuracy of development metrics and planning assumptions.
• Assist with test fits, planning scenarios, and development options.
• Create boards, visuals, and presentation materials for executive and investment presentations.
• Support the review of consultant drawings and design submissions.
• Maintain CAD and BIM files, drawing standards, and Studio document organization.
• Conduct site, market, and precedent research to support concept work.

• Demonstrated strong drawing and spatial thinking abilities, with attention to detail in production.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately, delivering quality results within given timeframes.
• Curiosity regarding the commercial aspects of development, beyond just design.
• Capable of taking direction effectively, asking pertinent questions, and learning quickly.
