Area Manager

About the Role

Fly Cham is seeking an Area Manager to oversee and expand the airline's commercial operations across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Based in Riyadh, this full-time role involves acting as the primary company representative and fostering strong institutional and governmental relationships. The Area Manager will lead revenue generation, sales distribution network development, strategic partnerships, and market positioning, working closely with headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across assigned outstations, ensuring safe, efficient, customer-focused, and on-time airport operations.
• Monitor operational performance, service quality, staffing, equipment, and operational readiness, while implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership during operational disruptions, irregular operations (IROPs), emergencies, and crisis situations to ensure business continuity.
• Ensure full compliance with GACA, ICAO, IATA, Company Safety Management System (SMS), airport security requirements, and all applicable regulatory and company standards.
• Lead operational incident investigations, manage operational risks, implement corrective actions, and maintain emergency preparedness across all assigned stations.
• Manage operational budgets, resource utilization, station productivity, and support commercial initiatives, business development opportunities, and the implementation of profitable commercial offers.
• Ensure compliance with contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while driving operational excellence and financial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, GACA, airline customers, government agencies, security authorities, and service providers, representing the company in operational meetings and airport committees.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct operational audits, and prepare management reports to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in airline operations or commercial management.
• For non-Saudi applicants, a valid transferable Saudi Iqama is mandatory.
