Role Overview

Hilton is seeking an Assistant Chief Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to overseeing the maintenance and repair of the physical building and its systems, ensuring exceptional experiences for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing team through recruitment, training, supervision, mentoring, performance evaluations, and professional development opportunities.
• Assist the Chief Engineer in managing daily maintenance operations, including task prioritization, verification of completion via the property maintenance management system, and timely resolution of service requests, guest concerns, and emergencies.
• Ensure safety and compliance by overseeing the maintenance of the physical building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems, coordinating inspections, and upholding national and local regulations.
• Support the Chief Engineer in driving engineering performance through monitoring departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), such as equipment upkeep, audit results, and team productivity.
• Collaborate with the broader hotel leadership team to support operational leadership, including evacuation procedures, duty manager coverage, and other safety protocols.
• Supervise external contractors and inspect completed work for quality and compliance standards.
• Lead and oversee property-wide energy conservation programs to reduce utility costs.

Experience Requirements
