About the Role

Smartech AV is seeking an Audio Visual Technician to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for the installation, configuration, and testing of audio visual systems in various client environments. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in the field.

Role Overview

The Audio Visual Technician will be based in Riyadh or other locations within the Kingdom, focusing on delivering high-quality AV solutions. This position involves working with a range of equipment, including displays, projectors, lighting, speakers, and control systems, primarily within control rooms, meeting spaces, and public venues.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test audio visual systems.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on AV equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to AV systems.
• Support video conferencing setups to ensure reliable system performance.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Coordinate effectively with project engineers.
• Prepare necessary equipment and cabling for installations.
• Conduct system checks and quality assurance procedures before project handover.
• Provide user support and basic training on AV system operation.
• Document all work performed accurately.
• Adhere to all safety and company standards on site.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as an Audio Visual Technician or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems.
• Proficiency in working with various AV components including displays, projectors, lighting, speakers, and control equipment.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation.

Work Environment

This is an on-site, full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role may require travel to various client locations within the Kingdom to perform installations and maintenance.
