About the Role

FNRCO is seeking an experienced BIM Coordination Engineer for a 12-month contract project in Riyadh. This role involves managing and coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models, ensuring adherence to project standards and facilitating effective construction coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models, including Architectural, Structural, MEP, ELV/ICT, Security, and AV.
  • Manage the BIM coordination process in line with the BEP, project standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Establish and maintain model coordination procedures, workflows, and deliverables.
  • Manage BIM models, documents, and coordination information using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Review and coordinate Revit models from various disciplines, verifying coordinates, levels, and model positioning.
  • Develop and maintain federated models using Navisworks, creating and managing clash detection tests.
  • Perform BIM model validation against BEP, BIM standards, project requirements, and approved designs.
  • Prepare detailed clash reports, assign and track coordination issues until closure, and conduct regular coordination meetings.
  • Support site teams by identifying BIM-related coordination issues affecting installation and assist with constructability reviews.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly BIM coordination reports, provide clash statistics, and maintain BIM coordination trackers.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 5-10 years of experience in BIM coordination.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
  • Proficiency in clash detection, BIM standards/BEP, and model validation.
  • Experience in coordination reporting and issue tracking.

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in Revit model health and quality checks.
  • Ability to configure search/selection sets and clash rules in Navisworks.
  • Skilled in identifying and prioritizing hard clashes and clearance clashes.
  • Competence in checking model geometry, data, parameters, and naming conventions.

Work Environment

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on a 12-month project. The role requires close coordination with design, construction, engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams.
