BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Otis is seeking a BIM Coordinator to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to supporting project delivery teams by developing, establishing, and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes on a day-to-day basis. The successful candidate will ensure the effective implementation and compliant adoption of BIM standards at both organizational and project levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide fortnightly and monthly progress and performance updates to clients and leads.
• Manage and respond to all formal correspondences related to BIM activities.
• Plan, manage, and document workshops and meetings.
• Evaluate and manage hardware and software deployment, and provide hands-on BIM software training for projects.
• Support the setup, development, configuration, and establishment of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project use.
• Manage and support object creation and maintain libraries according to project and stage needs.
• Develop and enforce BIM documentation and workflow process standards.
• Develop BIM specification documentation and support integration with tenders and contracts.
• Develop, manage, monitor, coordinate, and report on the Post-contract BIM Execution Plan, Task, and Master Information Delivery Plan (TIDP and MIDP).
• Manage, support, and validate project design delivery, including modeling, detailing, scheduling, and extraction.
• Ensure Project Information Models (PIM’s) are delivered in accordance with the agreed TIDP, MIDP, and CDE protocol.
• Develop processes, perform, measure, and ensure the highest quality for all BIM package submissions according to project standards.
• Review, monitor, and report on clash interference and fully coordinated models, following up on resolution with Design leads.
• Prepare discipline models and content for internal reviews and coordination meetings.
• Collaborate and coordinate with the Project delivery team on design changes and model challenges.
• Prepare validation reports for milestone BIM package submissions.
• Validate and export model geometry and data to schedules for internal design and commercial activities.
• Coordinate and support planning and construction activities with internally developed 4D sequencing models and progress reporting.
• Perform quality checks and report deviations of construction installation against approved coordinated models.
• Monitor, perform quality checks, and report on the quality of as-built models.
• Monitor and support data collection, validating Asset Information Models (AIM’s) with Maintenance Management System (MMS) requirements (*, COBie).
• Monitor and validate Asset Information Models tagging with all related project documents (*, H&S files and O&M Manuals) used during construction and handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and manage BIM standards and processes.
• Proficiency in BIM software and related technologies.
