Landscape / Architecture BIM Coordinator Qiddiya

About the Role

Alpin is seeking an experienced Landscape / Architecture BIM Coordinator to join the team in Riyadh, supporting a major sports complex project. This full-time position involves coordinating BIM activities related to architecture and landscape disciplines, ensuring consistency and coordination of design models within a complex, multidisciplinary project environment.

Project Context

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a significant sports development in Riyadh. The coordinator will work within an international and multidisciplinary setting, collaborating with leading construction, engineering, and design stakeholders. The position is key at the interface between architecture, landscape, engineering, and BIM, with direct involvement in the coordination of a technically ambitious Design & Build project.

Key Responsibilities

Working closely with the project’s design, BIM, and engineering teams, the Landscape / Architecture BIM Coordinator will:

• Coordinate architectural and landscape BIM models throughout the design development process.
• Ensure effective multidisciplinary coordination across Architecture, Landscape, Civil, Structural, and MEP disciplines.
• Review models to identify design inconsistencies, interfaces, and potential clashes.
• Manage and follow up on BIM coordination issues with relevant design teams.
• Organise and contribute to BIM coordination and design review meetings.
• Ensure models comply with project BIM requirements, modelling standards, and agreed workflows.
• Support the integration of landscape elements with buildings, external works, public realm, and infrastructure.
• Monitor model quality, level of information, and coordination status.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of coordinated BIM deliverables.
• Collaborate with BIM Managers, discipline leads, designers, and construction teams to facilitate a smooth transition from design to construction.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, BIM, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in BIM coordination, preferably on large-scale international building, infrastructure, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong understanding of architectural and landscape interfaces and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or a similar Common Data Environment is an advantage.
• Ability to review complex BIM models and coordinate multiple design stakeholders.
• Experience on Design & Build projects is highly valued.
• Experience in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is an advantage.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
