About AAB-TEC and the Role

AAB-TEC is seeking a skilled BIM Modeler to join its technical team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a professional with 5-10 years of experience in creating and managing Building Information Models for complex projects.

Role Overview

The BIM Modeler will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining detailed 3D BIM models. This role is central to supporting specialized architectural and engineering projects, ensuring model accuracy and adherence to project standards from initial development through to the as-built stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate Architectural 3D BIM models using Autodesk Revit, ensuring compliance with established project standards.
• Extract high-quality shop drawings, 2D plans, elevations, and sections directly from BIM models.
• Perform basic clash detection, collaborate with BIM coordinators, and update models based on feedback received from site operations.
• Create and maintain parametric BIM families and library assets to support project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience ranging from 5 to 10 years in Model Development & Improvement, specifically from LOD 300 to LOD 500 (As-Built stage).

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based within AAB-TEC's technical team in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working on a variety of complex architectural and specialized engineering projects.
