VitalAire is seeking a Biomedical Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on providing essential after-sales services to customers, ensuring medical devices are fully operational and customer satisfaction is consistently met.
Role Overview
The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the inspection, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medical devices. This position involves direct customer interaction, ensuring devices are ready for use, performing necessary repairs, and conducting preventive maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines. The role also includes providing training and support to hospital biomedical engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect medical devices and ensure their readiness for delivery.
- Install medical devices and prepare them for immediate use.
- Perform corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration as required.
- Conduct periodic preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer checklists.
- Execute recall instructions for medical devices.
- Maintain tools and test equipment to ensure functionality.
- Fulfill obligations outlined in service contracts.
- Ensure consistent customer satisfaction through effective service delivery.
- Promote and sell services, consumables, accessories, and spare parts.
- Provide customer service support through the customer center.
- Contribute to improving the quality of work within the operations department.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation to complete work according to department SOPs.
- Provide training and safety instructions to hospital biomedical engineers.
- Monitor and ensure the availability of spare parts stock.
- Deliver effective and appropriate customer support.
- Follow up with customers to confirm invoice acknowledgment.
- Support other departmental requirements to achieve company goals.
- Prepare reports related to the above tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a relevant biomedical engineering role.
- Demonstrated ability to inspect, install, and maintain medical devices.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and calibration procedures.
- Experience in providing customer support and training.
Work Environment
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The role involves working directly with medical devices and interacting with customers and hospital staff to ensure optimal service delivery and operational efficiency.
