Americana Restaurants operates a portfolio of global brands across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including KFC, Hardee's, Pizza Hut, Krispy Kreme, TGI Fridays, and Peet's Coffee. The company is seeking an experienced Saudi quantity surveyor to join its Design team in Riyadh.

The Role of BOQ Senior Associate

The BOQ Senior Associate will be responsible for managing bills of quantities and cost estimation for new store openings and remodels. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and involves close collaboration with various internal teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities: Bills of Quantities & Estimation

• Produce accurate bills of quantities for new store openings and remodels in line with Design team drawings and requirements.
• Prepare high-level and detailed cost estimates to support project budgeting and approvals.
• Read and interpret architectural, interior design, civil, and MEP drawings to quantify scope precisely.
• Ensure Americana design and specification standards are implemented and maintained across every BOQ.

Cost Control & Value Engineering

• Propose value engineering options that reduce cost without compromising brand standards or quality.
• Benchmark material and service rates against current market prices across the Kingdom.
• Support review of contractor submissions and variation claims against the issued BOQ.

Compliance & Coordination

• Reflect local authority and municipal specification requirements in scopes and quantities.
• Work closely with the Design, Construction, and Real Estate teams, as well as with vendors and suppliers.
• Support special projects requiring dedicated analysis and reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience as a quantity surveyor.
• Must be a Saudi national.
• Ability to interpret architectural, interior design, civil, and MEP drawings.
• Strong understanding of cost estimation, cost control, and value engineering principles.
