Business Analyst BCM

About the Role

Solidrange is seeking a Business Analyst BCM to define, validate, and improve a Business Continuity Management (BCM) software solution. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role involves bridging various teams and stakeholders to translate resilience, regulatory, and operational needs into scalable product capabilities.

Role Purpose and Context

The Business Analyst BCM will serve as a key link between BCM practitioners, customers, product, UX, engineering, QA, and implementation teams. The primary objective is to ensure the BCM software solution effectively addresses critical business continuity requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong enterprise business analysis skills combined with practical knowledge of BCM principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, prioritize, and document requirements from customers, BCM specialists, internal stakeholders, and delivery teams.
• Translate business needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, business rules, data requirements, and non-functional requirements.
• Manage and refine the product backlog with the Product Manager, identifying dependencies, gaps, risks, and edge cases prior to development.
• Define and improve BCM workflows covering Business Impact Analysis (BIA), recovery objectives (RTO/RPO/MTPD), dependency mapping, continuity plans, crisis management, exercises, corrective actions, audits, and compliance evidence.
• Define calculation logic, scoring models, thresholds, recovery priorities, approvals, workflow rules, and dashboard/reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct customer discovery sessions, workshops, demonstrations, design reviews, fit-gap assessments, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Partner with UX/UI teams to design intuitive, role-based BCM workflows for various users including assessors, plan owners, approvers, crisis teams, auditors, and executives.
• Ensure enterprise usability requirements are met, including configurable templates, notifications, localization, Arabic/English support, bulk updates, imports, integrations, and reduced manual data entry.
• Define UAT scenarios and functional test cases; support sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, defect triage, release validation, and release documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to validate permissions, business rules, calculations, audit trails, approvals, notifications, reports, and data integrity.
• Define requirements for Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), delegated approvals, segregation of duties, auditability, record retention, multi-tenant isolation, organization hierarchy, and role-based access.
• Support alignment with ISO 22301 and relevant Saudi/GCC compliance, data-residency, privacy, cybersecurity, and governance requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant business analysis role.
• Strong enterprise business analysis skills.
• Practical understanding of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Business Continuity Plans (BCP), crisis management, disaster recovery, BCM exercises, recovery objectives, and resilience reporting.
