About Trivers and the Role

Trivers is seeking a Business Development Lead to expand its recruitment and executive search business in Saudi Arabia. This is a hands-on growth role based in Riyadh, encompassing the full client cycle from prospecting to growth. The successful candidate will collaborate directly with the Founder & CEO and the existing recruiter network to cultivate client relationships, secure recruitment mandates, and enhance Trivers' market presence. This position requires over 10 years of relevant experience and operates on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for:

• Building and managing a pipeline of prospective clients across Saudi Arabia.
• Developing relationships with CEOs, CHROs, Heads of Talent, and other senior decision-makers.
• Activating existing networks and continuously creating new business relationships.
• Leading client discovery meetings to identify recruitment and executive search opportunities.
• Developing tailored proposals and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Winning retained search, contingency recruitment, and headhunting mandates.
• Working closely with recruiters to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.
• Developing repeat business, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
• Representing Trivers through networking, industry events, and LinkedIn thought leadership.
• Maintaining disciplined tracking and reporting of pipeline, activities, opportunities, and client relationships.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

We are seeking individuals from backgrounds such as Recruitment, Executive Search, Business Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Consulting, Professional Services, or B2B Sales. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Strong knowledge of the Saudi market.
• An established network of business and decision-makers.
• Proven B2B business development experience.
• Confidence in engaging senior executives.
• Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• An entrepreneurial and highly accountable mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Recruitment or executive search experience is highly desirable, though strong business developers with relevant Saudi networks are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Career Growth

This is a commission-based contract, with the potential for conversion to a full-time position upon achieving targeted milestones within 3-6 months. Strong performance in this role can lead to opportunities such as Business Development Director, territory ownership, and future team leadership or Managing Partner positions.
