About the Role

Saud International School Riyadh is inviting applications for a Business Studies Teacher. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on delivering comprehensive business studies education to students.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Business Studies Teacher will be instrumental in developing students' strong subject knowledge in business studies, encompassing key business concepts, entrepreneurship, economics-related business principles, and organizational practices. This role requires effective classroom teaching skills, the ability to provide clear instruction and practical examples, and a commitment to preparing well-structured lessons. The teacher will support students’ academic progress and collaborate closely with the academic team to maintain high standards of teaching and learning within the school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging business studies lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and academic expectations.
• Teach business-related concepts clearly and effectively, including business organization, marketing, finance, human resources, operations, and entrepreneurship, according to the assigned grade level.
• Plan lessons, worksheets, activities, case studies, presentations, assessments, and learning resources that support student understanding.
• Encourage students to develop analytical thinking, decision-making skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of real-world business practices.
• Maintain effective classroom management and promote a respectful, focused, and positive learning environment.
• Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, assignments, and student progress.
• Use the school’s LMS and academic systems as required.
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, coordinators, and school leadership when needed.
• Participate in school activities, academic meetings, events, and professional development sessions.
• Contribute positively to the academic culture and values of Saud International School.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Education, or a related field.
• A teaching qualification or relevant professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience in teaching business studies in an international school environment is an advantage.
