About the Role

Al-Enjaz Company is seeking a Civil Drafter to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves preparing and reviewing detailed road project plans, ensuring accuracy and adherence to engineering standards. The position requires 2-5 years of experience in civil engineering and infrastructure.

Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to accurately prepare and review executive and detailed plans for major and minor road projects. This includes calculating levels, slopes, and quantities for excavation and backfill, all in accordance with established engineering standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings for main and express road networks.
• Draw and calculate longitudinal profiles and cross-sections, determining road levels and side/surface drainage slopes.
• Apply standards for longitudinal and transverse slopes (superelevation) and appropriate gradients to ensure rainwater drainage and traffic safety.
• Extract quantity tables for calculating cut and fill works, as well as pavement and asphalt materials.
• Coordinate and align road paths with other infrastructure networks (stormwater drainage, sewage, electricity, water).
• Prepare output and printing files with approved drawing scales and export survey data for field execution teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Technical Diploma (Engineering Drawing / Surveying / Roads) or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Work Experience: A minimum of 2 to 4 years of practical experience in road drafting and design, and infrastructure.
• Software and Technical Skills:
  • Full proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
  • Strong command or excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (especially in designing slopes, levels, and quantity calculations).
  • Understanding of survey data interpretation and handling points and levels (Point Clouds / Survey Data).
