Construction Project Manager, Saudi National

Qualified Crew is recruiting on behalf of a leading contracting company in Saudi Arabia for an experienced Construction Project Manager. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves managing the delivery of major construction packages within a large-scale development project. The successful candidate must be a Saudi national with a strong background as a main contractor.

Role Focus and Project Context

This position demands substantial contractor-side construction execution experience. The Project Manager will hold hands-on responsibility for site execution, subcontractor management, planning coordination, resource allocation, and overall project delivery. Candidates whose experience is limited to consultancy, PMC, supervision, government, developer, or client-side roles will not be considered for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day execution and delivery of assigned construction packages.
• Lead site teams and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and client representatives.
• Monitor project schedule, cost, quality, HSE, manpower, equipment, and productivity.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contractual requirements.
• Lead site coordination and progress meetings, ensuring timely closure of action items.
• Identify delays, risks, technical challenges, and interface issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate closely with planning, technical, commercial, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project milestones and quality standards.
• Review progress, resource requirements, and recovery plans when necessary.
• Prepare accurate progress updates and performance reports for senior management.
• Support testing, commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi national is a mandatory requirement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of construction experience.
• Proven experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager with a main contractor.
• Strong hands-on experience in site execution and construction package delivery.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, manpower, equipment, schedules, productivity, and site coordination.
• Experience delivering major, mega, or giga-scale construction projects in Saudi Arabia.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project controls, quality, HSE, and contractual requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred.
