About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Corporate Strategy & Business Planning Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading corporate strategic planning, performance management, and annual planning processes across the organization. The Manager will ensure alignment across business units and enable data-driven decision-making through standardized planning frameworks, integrated data platforms, and comprehensive performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of corporate strategic objectives and plans, ensuring integration and consistency across all organizational strategies.
• Oversee the collection, consolidation, and analysis of strategic performance evaluation results, coordinating with KPI owners and conducting root-cause analysis for underperforming indicators.
• Manage the prioritization of strategic projects based on organizational goals, resources, and constraints, analyzing interdependencies and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Select, develop, and maintain data platforms for extraction, reporting, and executive decision-making, standardizing systems and building centralized databases.
• Standardize annual planning templates, define timelines, and ensure consistent adoption and alignment of annual plans with strategic objectives across all business units.
• Analyze performance deviations in annual plans, consolidate quarterly review outcomes, and conduct financial and operational analysis to provide actionable recommendations.

Leadership and Operational Accountabilities

• Recruit, recognize, and cultivate high performers to build a robust second line of management, while also guiding or managing low performers.
• Take full responsibility for operations, anticipate problems, and make timely, necessary decisions in line with company guidelines.
• Deliver required results in a timely manner, meeting quality and cost standards.
• Translate corporate goals into business plans, monitor their performance, and initiate corrective actions to strengthen results.
• Develop organizational structures and ensure job descriptions are available and deployed for all roles.
• Develop and coordinate well-defined systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities and promoting the use of IT solutions.
• Uphold quality as a prime competitive advantage and adapt to new techniques, technologies, and business models.
• Ensure a safe, secure, and legal work environment in accordance with standard regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, business planning, performance management, or a related field. A strong background in data analysis, platform development, and financial analysis is essential. The role requires proven leadership capabilities, including team development and performance management.
