About the Creative Copywriter Role

mhazam is seeking a Creative Copywriter to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is designed for an individual with 0-1 years of experience who possesses a strong understanding of the Saudi market, its culture, and audience. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating insights into compelling ideas and crafting engaging copy across various platforms to capture attention and drive action.

As a Creative Copywriter, you will contribute to the development of impactful advertising campaigns and content. This involves close collaboration with strategists, designers, and production teams to bring creative concepts to life, ensuring they resonate with the target audience and align with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write advertising copy for diverse campaigns, including social media, websites, and marketing materials.
  • Develop creative concepts, core campaign messaging, taglines, and headlines.
  • Write scripts for video content, commercials, and digital campaigns.
  • Adapt tone of voice to effectively match specific brand identities and target audience preferences.
  • Collaborate with strategists, designers, content creators, and production teams to develop campaigns.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas.
  • Review and refine all content to ensure quality, consistency, and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on Saudi market trends, consumer behavior, and cultural insights.
  • Attend production shoots, client locations, and project sites as required.
  • Provide on-site creative feedback and quality control.
  • Ensure final creative deliverables accurately reflect the approved concept and creative vision.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be a Saudi National.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the Saudi market, its culture, and local audience behavior.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in copywriting, advertising, or content creation.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing previous campaigns, copywriting work, or creative projects is mandatory.
  • Exhibit exceptional Arabic writing and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to develop comprehensive campaign concepts, not solely focus on writing content.
  • Comfortable working closely with production teams and attending shoots when necessary.
  • Be a creative thinker with a solid understanding of marketing and branding principles.
  • English proficiency is considered a valuable asset.
