The Emerging Market Corporate Debt Team

Ninety One’s Emerging Market Corporate Debt team is a global investment capability focused on delivering differentiated credit outcomes across the emerging markets universe. The team blends rigorous bottom-up credit research with top-down market insights to identify investment opportunities, supported by a strong track record and deep local knowledge.

The Role: Credit Analyst

Ninety One is seeking a Credit Analyst Emerging Market Corporate Debt to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience. The Credit Analyst will work closely with the Chief Investment Officer of Ninety One’s Saudi entity, operating as an integrated part of the global Emerging Market Corporate Credit platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent, bottom-up credit research on financial institutions and corporates across Saudi Arabia and other emerging markets.
  • Generate differentiated investment ideas with the objective of outperforming benchmarks.
  • Formulate and communicate clear investment recommendations to portfolio managers.
  • Contribute to top-down analysis to support country, sector, and risk positioning.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of issuers and adjust recommendations as needed.
  • Analyse financial statements, credit metrics, and qualitative factors to assess issuer fundamentals and sustainability.
  • Incorporate macroeconomic and market insights into investment analysis.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of proprietary research tools and databases.
  • Prepare written research, internal and client reporting, and support investment presentations.
  • Participate in investment meetings and contribute to ongoing improvement across research processes.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of experience in a relevant credit analysis or investment research role, preferably within emerging markets or corporate debt.

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Credit Analyst will contribute to the build-out of the local entity and dedicated regional strategies over time.
