Role Overview

The Credit Manager will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's credit policies and procedures. This full-time role involves ensuring the timely collection of outstanding accounts, minimizing exposure to bad debt, and maintaining strong relationships with guests, corporate clients, and business partners. The position is crucial for safeguarding the hotel's financial interests and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the hotel's credit and collection processes.
• Review, assess, and approve credit applications in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and reduce bad debt risk.
• Reconcile disputed accounts and resolve billing issues in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Prepare regular credit and collection reports for management review.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and documentation.
• Liaise with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure proper credit control.
• Ensure compliance with Hyatt policies, internal controls, and local regulations.
• Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Credit Manager position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role requires a professional who can effectively manage financial policies and procedures within a hospitality environment.
