About the Credit Operations Officer Role

Rize is a rent-now-pay-later platform focused on enhancing the accessibility and affordability of rentals in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Operations Officer to manage daily credit operations. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. The role involves supporting and managing the daily credit operations process, including reviewing financing applications, preparing contracts, and ensuring a smooth operational workflow across the credit lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

The Credit Operations Officer will be responsible for a range of operational tasks to ensure the efficient processing of credit applications and contracts. This includes:

  • Reviewing and processing financing applications in accordance with company policies and service level agreements.
  • Preparing, creating, and validating contracts within internal systems.
  • Following up with customers, landlords, and internal teams for missing documentation and approvals.
  • Monitoring application pipelines to ensure timely processing and completion.
  • Conducting quality checks on applications and customer documentation prior to final processing.
  • Coordinating with Risk, Sales, Legal, Collections, and Customer Experience teams.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of customer data and contract information within systems.
  • Supporting operational reporting and maintaining trackers using Excel and dashboards.
  • Escalating operational issues, delays, or policy exceptions as needed.
  • Assisting with process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, MIS, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in credit operations, banking, fintech, or related operational roles is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and operational systems.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability.
