About the Role

Searce Inc is seeking a Solutions Architect - Data Engineering to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the design and execution of data engineering solutions, directly contributing to clients' AI-powered transformations. The Solutions Architect will be responsible for shaping and driving these transformations from initial principles through advanced data engineering and architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical data solution delivery to support client revenue and success, including forecasting, architecting, and executing data strategies.
• Architect and deliver data products that build client trust and accelerate data-driven decision-making.
• Leverage technical alliances with hyperscalers (GCP/AWS/Azure), modern data stack ISVs, and AI platforms.
• Serve as the lead technical voice in strategic client conversations, translating business problems into data engineering solutions.
• Conduct discovery workshops to identify client problems suitable for AI-powered data architectures.
• Apply the evlos methodology for designing and developing automated data ecosystems.
• Translate client business challenges into cloud-native data platforms.
• Design AI-native, cloud-forward data solutions based on process intelligence.
• Deliver production-grade automation and real-world data flows for clients.

Functional Skills

• Consultative Data Architectural Solutioning: Drive modern data architectural solutioning and consultative guidance, enabling client wins and revenue-generating engagements.
• Incisive Discovery & Pipeline Opportunity Identification: Uncover core business challenges, discern data and system opportunities, and deconstruct ambiguous goals into scalable data blueprints.
• Architectural Storytelling & Data Clarity: Communicate complex modern data architectures (Lakehouse, Data Mesh, RAG-based AI infrastructure) to CXO/CTO-level audiences with technical accuracy.
• Technical Negotiation: Guide client and internal teams towards optimal data architectural decisions, balancing innovation with pragmatism.
• Cross-Functional Engineering & DataOps Catalyst: Collaborate across product, engineering, data science, and delivery, sharing technical knowledge in DataOps, IaC, and automated quality frameworks.

Technical Expertise

• AI-Driven Data Architecture: Architect robust ecosystems bridging structured data with unstructured/vector stores for RAG and GenAI workflows.
• Core Modern Data Engineering Mastery: Translate technical insights into resilient architectures for petabyte-scale volume and data skew.
• Cloud-Native & MDS Capability: Implement high-performance platforms on Snowflake, Databricks, or Hyperscalers, utilizing tools like SQL, Python, Spark, and dbt.
• Business-Driven "Data Product" Architecture: Link architectural decisions directly to client outcomes, treating datasets as measurable "Data Products."
• End-to-End Ecosystem & Governance Integrity: Design modular, reusable data products across ingestion, transformation, and consumption, embedding data quality, lineage, and privacy-by-design.

Qualifications and Experience

• Architectural Pedigree: 8+ years of progressive experience in AI-driven, cloud-native data transformations with a process-first mindset.
• Technical Growth Leadership: Proven track record in architecting complex platforms (Lakehouses, Real-time Streaming, Platform Migrations) that fuel client revenue.
• Client-Facing Technical Authority: Direct experience as a lead builder and consultative architect, translating CEO visions into technical blueprints.
• Cloud & AI-Native Fluency: Expert-level mastery of major cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and the modern data stack, with experience building with and for AI.
• Domain Expertise: Strong background in Enterprise Data Platforms, Applied AI/ML, Generative AI integration, or large-scale Cloud Data Migration.
• Transformation Portfolio: Evidence of leading large-scale, end-to-end transformations with proven architectures and cost-performance benchmarks.
