About The Role
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of Mozn's Text-to-SQL product, Talk to Your Data. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing the data pipelines that support our AI-driven SQL generation system. Collaboration with machine learning engineers, software developers, and product managers is essential to ensure seamless data integration, effective query execution, and system scalability.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for model training and inference.
  • Optimize SQL query generation by designing database schemas and indexing strategies.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers to preprocess and structure datasets.
  • Generate realistic SQL queries and natural language questions to improve model accuracy.
  • Monitor and enhance data pipeline performance.
  • Ensure data quality by implementing validation mechanisms.
  • Support real-time and batch query execution.
  • Stay updated with best practices in data engineering.

Qualifications
  • 35 years of experience in data engineering or database administration.
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with relational databases and cloud-based data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate.

Nice-to-Have
  • Understanding of Text-to-SQL models.
  • Experience with LLMs and NLP systems.
