About the Role

Inbox Business Technologies is seeking a Data Science & Governance SME to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to provide specialized data-domain expertise across both data science and governance segments. The role is critical in ensuring the technical accuracy and credibility of all data-related communications and initiatives.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a subject matter expert, ensuring that all communication content related to data governance, data quality, data privacy, data management, and Business Intelligence (BI) is technically accurate and credible. This expertise will directly support the design and interpretation of data-literacy frameworks and adoption measures within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the authority on data governance (DAMA-DMBOK), data quality, data management, data privacy (PDPL), and BI/analytics for all program content.
  • Review and validate the technical accuracy of data-domain content, including governance, quality, privacy, roles-and-responsibilities, and BI messaging.
  • Co-design the data-literacy framework and the Data Awareness Survey, and advise on data-literacy assessment measures under Segment 3.
  • Support executive briefings and immersion sessions by providing data-domain credibility.
  • Interpret data-literacy metrics in collaboration with the Adoption Analyst and recommend content or intervention adjustments.
  • Maintain alignment with TAWAL's data strategy, policies, and the KSA regulatory context (PDPL, NDMO, SDAIA).

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 8-12 years of experience in data governance, data management, data quality, or analytics.
  • Exposure to advisory or change-enablement roles is preferred.
  • Experience within enterprise or telecom/infrastructure data environments is preferred.
  • Strong familiarity with the KSA regulatory context, including PDPL, NDMO, and SDAIA, is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data governance, specifically DAMA-DMBOK, data quality, and data management principles.

Skills and Certifications

  • Proficient knowledge of data privacy (PDPL), Business Intelligence (BI) & analytics, and data science/analytics concepts.
  • Proven experience with data-literacy framework and awareness-survey design.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts effectively for business audiences and provide stakeholder advisory.
  • Certifications such as CDMP (DAMA) are preferred.
  • An Informatica or a cloud data-governance certification is considered a plus.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The salary for this role will be disclosed during the interview process.
