The Role of Data Scientist I

Mozn is seeking a Data Scientist I to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are interested in Financial Fraud Detection, Sanction Screening, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives, and emerging Generative AI technologies. The Data Scientist I will support the development of analytical and AI-driven solutions to detect and prevent fraudulent activities and mitigate AML risks under close guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of fraud detection, AML, and Generative AI use cases.
• Assist in building and testing Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) models, including prompt engineering and RAG pipelines.
• Prepare, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
• Support the training, evaluation, and deployment of ML models.
• Assist with experimentation using Large Language Models (LLMs) for tasks such as document analysis, alert summarization, or data enrichment.
• Execute assigned tasks within project plans under supervision.
• Stay informed about industry trends related to fraud, AML, and Generative AI.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Interest in Financial Fraud Detection, Sanction Screening, Know Your Customer (KYC) procedures, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) initiatives, and Generative AI technologies.

Work Environment and Location
