Dean of IT

About the Role

Qureos is seeking a Dean of IT to provide strategic and academic leadership for the College of Information Technology. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing academic programs, faculty performance, research, accreditation, and student success within the college.

Role Purpose

The Dean of IT ensures the continuous development and quality of IT programs. This role is critical for aligning the college's offerings with the University’s strategic objectives and current industry requirements, fostering an environment of academic excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the College of IT and its academic programs.
• Develop and implement academic strategies and plans.
• Oversee faculty recruitment, performance, and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation and quality assurance standards.
• Promote research, innovation, and collaboration with the technology industry.
• Enhance student experience, academic quality, and graduate employability.
• Manage the College’s budget and academic resources.
• Represent the College in internal and external academic and professional engagements.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
• Demonstrated leadership in academic and strategic planning within an IT or related field.
• Experience in managing faculty, academic programs, and accreditation processes.
