Alkhorayef Petroleum Company is seeking a skilled Diamond Driller (Mining) to join their operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position designed for professionals with 2-5 years of experience in diamond drilling within the mining sector.

Role Overview

The Diamond Driller will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of diamond core drilling rigs. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality core recovery and accurate sampling, directly contributing to the success of mining exploration projects. The position requires a strong technical understanding of drilling processes and a commitment to operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain diamond core drilling rigs safely and efficiently.
• Ensure high-quality core recovery and implement accurate sampling procedures.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of drilling fluids, downhole tools, and core handling techniques.
• Complete shift reports, logs, and other required technical documentation in basic English.
• Adhere strictly to site-specific Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 7 years of proven experience as a Diamond Driller, preferably within the mining industry.
• Demonstrated practical knowledge in the operation and maintenance of diamond core drilling rigs.
• Familiarity with various drilling fluids, downhole tools, and effective core handling techniques.
• Ability to accurately complete technical reports and logs in basic English.

Work Environment and Schedule

This role requires the ability to work effectively in remote locations. Candidates must be prepared to operate under rotation schedules, adapting to the dynamic demands of the mining environment and project timelines.
