About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Director - Gaming & Esports Innovation Product Strategy to shape the future of its gaming and esports offerings. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requires a strategic leader with over 10 years of experience to drive product vision and innovation.

Role Overview

The Director will be responsible for defining the product vision, innovation strategy, and future experience roadmap for Qiddiya's gaming and esports assets. This involves identifying emerging trends, technologies, content formats, and experiential concepts to enhance guest engagement and differentiate offerings. The role will define future-state product and experience opportunities, evaluate global solutions, and provide strategic recommendations to inform asset planning and investment decisions. This position acts as a key liaison between asset teams, strategic partners, and enabling functions to achieve Qiddiya’s gaming and esports ambitions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate experience and business requirements into high-level product and technology considerations.
• Assess emerging technologies, digital platforms, and product solutions for strategic relevance and application.
• Define future-state product and experience requirements to guide technology planning and delivery.
• Provide strategic guidance on technology-enabled experiences, digital products, and innovation opportunities.
• Evaluate solution concepts, platforms, and product ecosystems from customer, commercial, and experience perspectives.
• Formulate recommendations on technology and product investment opportunities to support asset differentiation and growth.
• Engage with technology providers, gaming platforms, content creators, and innovation partners to understand market developments.
• Develop concept-level requirements and experience frameworks for translation into detailed delivery plans.
• Provide strategic product and innovation inputs into governance forums, investment reviews, and key decision-making processes.
• Support technology and delivery teams by defining concept-level requirements and desired experience outcomes.
• Review and challenge proposed technology solutions and innovation initiatives for alignment with objectives.
• Contribute to the development of standards, principles, and governance frameworks for technology-enabled products and experiences.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Digital Product Management, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategy, product, innovation, and digital experiences.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Province of Saudi Arabia.
