Director of Construction Supervision

Sinopack Search is partnering with an established multidisciplinary consultancy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to appoint a Director of Construction Supervision. This full-time role is a key leadership position within the business, taking overall responsibility for the performance and strategic direction of the construction supervision division across a diverse portfolio of major projects in the built environment.

Role Purpose and Scope

The successful individual will provide strategic and operational leadership for post-contract project delivery. This involves managing multidisciplinary supervision teams to ensure that all projects are delivered in strict accordance with contractual, technical, and programme requirements. The Director will hold significant influence across the organization, contributing directly to the continued growth and success of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction supervision division across multiple projects.
• Provide senior leadership to Project Directors, Project Managers, Resident Engineers, and multidisciplinary site supervision teams.
• Oversee contractor and subcontractor performance throughout the entire construction lifecycle.
• Ensure all projects are delivered in strict adherence to the Conditions of Contract.
• Provide oversight of contract administration, claims management, variations, and other contractual matters.
• Monitor project programmes, progress, procurement activities, quality standards, and overall delivery performance.
• Maintain senior-level relationships with clients, developers, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Identify and proactively resolve major project risks and delivery challenges.
• Drive consistency, quality, and best practice across the entire construction supervision function.
• Support projects through to successful completion and handover.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to provide strategic and operational leadership in post-contract project delivery.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary supervision teams on major projects.
• Strong understanding of contractual requirements, contract administration, and project delivery best practices.
