Early Career Trainingship Commissioning Specialist

About the Role

GE Vernova is seeking an Early Career Trainingship Commissioning Specialist to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This internship position is designed for an Early Career Trainee (ECT) with 0-1 years of experience, specializing as an Electrical Engineer in Construction & Commissioning. The role is based in the Riyadh Office and involves both Tenders Estimation and Site Execution Planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project scope and technical specifications for Construction & Commissioning in new tenders and site execution works (ITO & OTR Functions).
• Oversee project contractual timelines and major milestone targets.
• Plan and schedule all Construction & Commissioning activities within the project timeframe.
• Manage project site organization, establishment, and development processes.
• Implement all site quality and safety procedures.
• Ensure implementation of all site installation and commissioning method statements and risk assessments.
• Interface with Project Management for project execution planning and to address hindrances.
• Coordinate with Engineering on design and drawing approvals from clients and consultants.
• Liaise with Procurement & Sourcing regarding materials deliveries.
• Review installation drawings and ensure execution adheres to specifications.
• Forecast critical tasks and material requirements to prevent delays.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly progress reporting and monitoring.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants on progress status, three-week look-ahead schedules, progress reporting, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with various agencies and manage resource planning for each activity.
• Monitor the progress of electrical equipment installation and commissioning works.
• Report non-conformances related to equipment and component failures.
• Report on the return on experience (ROE) for each major equipment to support continuous improvement processes.
