EBC Executive

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking an EBC Executive to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves managing guest interactions, resolving inquiries, and processing various requests while utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact appropriate individuals or departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling.
• Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage, such as rewards points, show tickets, or gift certificates.
• Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally.
• Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
• Handle all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Enter Marriott Rewards information into the appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.
• Assist management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support team goals, and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrated ability to use sales techniques to maximize revenue.
• Experience in maintaining guest loyalty and promoting brand awareness.
• Proficiency in processing reservation requests and loyalty program points.
