About the Role

Leshines is seeking a full-time EHS Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to leading the establishment, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's environmental, health, and safety management systems. The EHS Specialist will ensure operational compliance with local and international regulations, minimize occupational health and safety risks, drive sustainability initiatives, and safeguard both employee well-being and company assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain, and continuously improve the company's EHS management system, including drafting and revising safety operating procedures, emergency response plans, and related policy documents.
  • Conduct workplace risk assessments and hazard inspections, developing and tracking corrective actions to ensure closed-loop management.
  • Coordinate employee EHS training programs, such as new hire safety orientation, specialized skill training, and emergency drills, while maintaining training records and certification files.
  • Monitor environmental emissions and waste management, participate in environmental impact assessments, and drive energy conservation, emission reduction, and pollution control initiatives.
  • Lead incident/accident investigations and root cause analysis, develop corrective and preventive measures, and organize emergency drills and response activities.
  • Establish EHS performance indicators (both leading and lagging), regularly collect data, prepare reports, and present progress to management.
  • Maintain relationships with government regulators, industry associations, and third-party agencies, tracking regulatory updates to ensure full compliance.
  • Support EHS management for overseas projects or branches, including adapting to local regulations, conducting on-site audits, and providing technical guidance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing, electronics, chemical, energy, or related industries.
  • Demonstrated strong technical and soft skills relevant to EHS management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Engineer, CSP, NEBOSH, or equivalent.
  • Background in electronics, energy, chemical, or emerging industries.
  • Experience in EHS integration and management within multinational corporations or overseas projects.
