WSP is seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector - Saudi National to join a major data centre project located east of Riyadh. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to a significant infrastructure development, ensuring the highest standards of electrical work.

Role Purpose and Project Context

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that all electrical works on the project are executed in full compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes and standards. The Electrical Inspector will be responsible for upholding quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle within a fast-paced site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor various electrical works, including power distribution, lighting, cabling, and earthing systems.
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and established quality standards.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and project teams on site.
• Review critical project documentation such as method statements, Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), and material submittals.
• Identify non-conformances in electrical works and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are promptly implemented.
• Prepare comprehensive inspection reports and maintain accurate site records for all electrical activities.
• Support the implementation of quality assurance protocols and health & safety requirements on site.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an Electrical Inspector on large-scale construction projects.
• Proven experience on data centre, industrial, or mission-critical projects is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, relevant codes, industry standards, and inspection procedures.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Ability to work effectively and maintain performance in a fast-paced site environment.
• Good communication and reporting skills, essential for site coordination and documentation.
