EMBRYOLOGIST ART & PGD LAB (Sec) R

About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH) in Riyadh is seeking an Embryologist ART & PGD Lab to perform duties and act in a lead capacity within the Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Laboratory. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all procedures in the *** Laboratory, including ICSI procedures.
• Conduct analyses, tests, and procedures according to established Laboratory standards, maintaining quality control for the subsection.
• Participate in the Quality Assurance programs of the Section.
• Investigate incident reports and implement associated corrective actions.
• Assist in the evaluation of new methodologies and equipment.
• Assist in the revision of policy and procedure manuals in accordance with specified guidelines.
• Orient, train, provide continuing education, and guide lower-graded personnel, other Laboratory and healthcare personnel, students, and residents.
• Implement and maintain appropriate Laboratory safety procedures and practices.
• Ensure optimum levels of supplies are available to provide uninterrupted services.
• Inform the Reproductive Biologist/Supervisor of any operational or technical problems.
• Perform technical duties as assigned, including weekends, night shifts, and on-call coverage.
• Participate in and contribute to quality improvement activities.
• Participate in self and other's education, training, and development, as applicable.
• Follow all Hospital-related policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current registration from the country of origin and the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) is required.
• Independently performed ≥ 50 hands-on ICSI / embryo biopsy cases.
• Demonstrates a clear understanding of ART techniques.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves working within a specialized laboratory setting at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH).
