The Role: Site Civil Engineer

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires an experienced professional to manage and oversee civil engineering activities on site, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and in compliance with quality and safety standards. The role involves leadership, team development, and operational accountability.

Key Responsibilities

• Train subordinates and build an effective team to ensure efficient work execution.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and clear direction to subordinates across all aspects of their work.
• Delegate tasks and assignments appropriately to subordinates.
• Ensure equitable distribution of tasks to maintain team morale and motivation.
• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing deviations and the execution status of planned tasks.
• Resolve emerging problems and escalate complex operational issues as necessary.
• Ensure adherence to quality requirements, developing effective quality control measures and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, actively seeking automation opportunities.
• Comply with all relevant policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality products/services.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably within an EPC environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
• Strong understanding of quality control processes and international standards.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and managing project schedules.
