Overview of the Role

People Group Arabia is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to join a major mega-project in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for a senior HSE professional with extensive experience in complex project environments, focusing on health, safety, and environmental management.

Role Context

The HSE Manager will be responsible for overseeing and implementing HSE strategies on a large-scale project. This role requires a professional capable of leading HSE teams, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring adherence to international standards and best practices within a major construction or infrastructure setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage HSE teams and drive a robust safety culture across the project.
• Implement and maintain HSE management systems.
• Conduct risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Oversee HSE performance of contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with international HSE standards and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Approximately 15 years of HSE experience, with a minimum of 10 years required.
• Proven experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
• Demonstrated experience managing contractors and subcontractors.
• Solid understanding of international HSE standards and best practices.
• Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is highly desirable.
• Experience working on major mega-projects is advantageous.
