About the Executive Sales Role at Four Points by Sheraton
Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is seeking an Executive Sales professional to join their team. This full-time position requires a candidate with 2-5 years of relevant experience. The role focuses on driving revenue and maintaining strong guest relationships within the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact appropriate individuals or departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
- Utilize sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up-selling.
- Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage.
- Promote brand awareness internally and externally.
- Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
- Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
- Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing efforts.
Professional Conduct and Guest Service
This role involves assisting management in training and motivating employees, serving as a role model. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is essential, including maintaining a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, safeguarding proprietary information, and protecting company assets. A key aspect of the role is welcoming and acknowledging all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and expressing genuine appreciation. Effective communication is vital, speaking with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette.
Teamwork and Performance
Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others is crucial. This includes supporting the team to reach common goals and listening and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees. The role also involves monitoring the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Candidates should be able to read and visually verify information in various formats. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be requested by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or *** equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification is required for this role.
