About the Role

The Big Education Institute is seeking a dedicated Faculty Member, Finance & IT to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on delivering high-quality education and contributing to the academic community.

Role Purpose

The Faculty Member is responsible for providing effective teaching, fostering student learning, and conducting thorough assessments. This role ensures the maintenance of academic standards and actively contributes to curriculum development and various institutional activities within the institute.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the established curriculum.
• Deliver modules effectively using engaging teaching methodologies.
• Review and enhance course content to ensure academic quality and industry relevance.
• Guide and mentor students on assignments, projects, and their overall academic progress.
• Prepare assessments, quizzes, and examination papers.
• Evaluate assignments and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
• Perform examination invigilation and maintain the integrity of the assessment process.
• Record attendance, grades, and academic data accurately in the SIS/LMS within stipulated timelines.
• Monitor student performance and provide academic support where required.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies, academic regulations, and quality standards.
• Participate in curriculum development, moderation, and quality assurance activities.
• Attend departmental meetings, faculty development programs, and professional training sessions.
• Contribute to admissions, orientations, workshops, seminars, and other academic or promotional activities as assigned.
• Participate actively in on-campus events and institutional initiatives.
• Perform any other academic or administrative duties assigned by the Academic Management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess a relevant academic background suitable for a faculty role in Finance & IT. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a related field is required, demonstrating a strong foundation in both teaching and subject matter expertise.
