Field Service Engineer

About the Role

Danaher is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Riyadh. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The Field Service Engineer provides direct customer support by installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems within hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.

Role Responsibilities

The Field Service Engineer serves as a frontline support professional, resolving customer issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting. This role involves driving service revenue sales targets while maintaining strong customer contract retention and warranty conversion rates. Critical thinking is applied to resolve issues, rapidly repair instrumentation, provide customer training, and verify system operational performance and data quality.

Key Duties

• Provide excellent and efficient customer service, including technical training on Beckman Coulter products.
• Repair, maintain, and install assigned product lines.
• Complete preventative maintenance and field modification instructions accurately and on time.
• Travel throughout the assigned district territory.
• Document and report all repairs and product failures.
• Manage administrative responsibilities, such as maintaining customer service logs, internal service records, ordering repair parts, and managing cycle times.
• Contribute to the development of preventative maintenance procedures.
• Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, building and enhancing customer relationships to become a perceived partner in their business.
• Ensure customer satisfaction that is recognizable and valuable.
• Maintain compliance with the company’s standard background check, including a post-offer drug test.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing biomedical and laboratory electronic equipment.
• Experience working effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
