Financial Controller Spanish Speaker

About the Role

Jobskey Search and Selection is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join a client's team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and business performance analysis, particularly within complex or capital-intensive operations.

Role Overview

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial operations and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in finance and management control, with a focus on enhancing operational efficiency and managing financial contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring processes.
• Analyze financial and operational variances, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Prepare comprehensive management reports and financial models to support strategic business decisions.
• Monitor costs, CAPEX/OPEX, and overall profitability.
• Support internal controls, risk management frameworks, and process improvement initiatives.
• Assist with the financial evaluation and management of concession contracts.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, management control, FP&A, or a similar role.
• Fluent or advanced proficiency in both Spanish and English is mandatory.
• Arabic language skills are an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, CAPEX/OPEX, and cost management.
• Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in concessions, infrastructure, transportation, or other capital-intensive industries is preferred.
