Financial Credit Analyst

About the Role

Bank of Jordan (KSA) is seeking a Financial Credit Analyst to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role is essential for supporting the corporate team by enhancing the quality of credit decision management across business development departments and improving data analysis across credit portfolios. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to provide critical support to the corporate team in its daily operations. This involves developing and enhancing the quality of credit decision management within business development departments, as well as conducting comprehensive data analysis across various credit portfolios to ensure sound financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data analysis on credit facility applications and provide substantiated recommendations for new loans/investments, renewals, amendments, and structuring of existing loans/investments.
• Perform in-depth analysis of available data to develop effective risk identification, assessment, and measurement for all credit decisions.
• Provide accurate numbers, information, data, and analysis to decision-makers to ensure sound credit decisions aligned with the Bank's objectives.
• Review and analyze credit information and reports, including economic sector conditions, financial solvency, continuity, and the status of mortgages and guarantors.
• Prepare detailed credit reports on borrowers' positions, covering credit status, repayment capabilities, potential default risk, and the interest in establishing/maintaining relationships. Submit observations to the direct supervisor.
• Provide all requested data and reports to relationship managers and the direct manager promptly to facilitate decision-making and recommendation development.
• Contribute to the analysis of estimated cash flows by preparing necessary reports and supplying all required data and information to the direct manager.
• Inform the direct supervisor of all developments, events, and economic reports concerning market sectors, credit portfolios, and clients.
• Provide necessary support for all projects related to companies’ business and supply relevant data, reports, or information to concerned parties.

Experience and Qualifications

• 0-1 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or credit management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Proficiency in preparing detailed reports and providing clear, concise information.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, within a corporate banking environment. The role involves close collaboration with corporate teams, relationship managers, and direct supervisors to achieve the Bank's objectives.
