In this pivotal role, you'll oversee and manage day-to-day construction operations, focusing on the finishing aspects of civil engineering projects. Your leadership will ensure that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Coordination: Work closely with the project manager to understand project requirements and timelines. Ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise a skilled team of workers, allocating tasks and maintaining productivity while meeting quality standards.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage labor, equipment, and materials, ensuring resource availability for timely project completion.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and resolve any issues related to finishing works.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture on-site and ensure all staff adhere to safety regulations.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor progress, keeping accurate records for reporting and identifying potential delays or budget adjustments.
  • Problem Solving: Address any construction-related issues by collaborating with project managers and subcontractors.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Prepare project documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in civil engineering or construction management is desirable.
  • 2 to 5 years of proven experience in a supervisory role on civil engineering or construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques and safety regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office.
