Fleet Finance Credit Supervisor

About the Opportunity

J-B is seeking a Fleet Finance Credit Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to managing credit risk and ensuring compliance within our fleet financing operations, aligning with company policies and local regulations.

Role Overview

The Fleet Finance Credit Supervisor will lead the Fleet Credit unit, overseeing credit risk management and the recommendation of credit proposals. This position ensures adherence to J-B's credit policies, local directives, and Saudi Arabian anti-money laundering (AML) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fleet Credit unit, ensuring all credit applications comply with internal policies, procedures, and processes.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development to support proactive and quality deal origination.
• Review and approve credit analyses, returns, and reports within agreed turnaround times.
• Monitor portfolio quality, identify key customer risks and trends in credit quality, and propose corrective action plans.
• Add value to deal structuring, including pricing, product, purpose, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure full compliance with local directives and KSA AML practices.
• Coordinate with the Collections department on delinquent portfolios and support recovery strategies.
• Promote best practices within the credit team to enhance efficiency and risk management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in a similar role within a bank or finance organization in KSA.
• Proven track record in credit risk management and portfolio oversight.
• Strong financial services background, preferably within corporate or fleet financing.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Strong networking abilities with financial institutions and within the local market.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Excel and related tools.
