About the Founding Head of Marketing & Enrollment Growth

Urban Ridge Supplies is seeking a Founding Head of Marketing & Enrollment Growth to establish and lead its marketing function. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, offers a significant opportunity to build a marketing strategy from the ground up in a competitive market. The role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in B2C marketing, digital growth, and multi-channel campaign execution.

Marketing Strategy and Execution

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing the institution’s brand strategy and marketing plans to achieve enrollment targets, enhance brand awareness, and meet overall business objectives. This includes:

  • Leading the execution of the brand strategy, ensuring strong identity, positioning, and market competitiveness.
  • Developing and executing annual marketing plans and campaign calendars aligned with enrolment and revenue targets.
  • Designing and implementing marketing campaigns driven by customer insights, effective messaging, creative execution, and optimized channel selection.
  • Integrating digital lead generation campaigns into the overall marketing strategy.
  • Acting as the product owner for the institution’s website and digital presence.
  • Supporting the planning and execution of key institutional events and activations.
  • Owning lead generation targets and collaborating with student recruitment teams.
  • Continuously improving marketing effectiveness through innovation in reporting, automation, analytics, and campaign optimization.
  • Ensuring integrated delivery of marketing activities across all channels and platforms.
  • Maintaining a digital-first approach by staying current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Building and developing a high-performing marketing team.

Brand and Stakeholder Collaboration

This role involves shaping the institution's presentation to prospective students, families, and the broader market. Key aspects include:

  • Collaborating with academic leadership, admissions teams, and internal stakeholders to create compelling messaging.
  • Ensuring alignment with strategic partners and external stakeholders on brand standards and marketing practices.
  • Managing relationships with external marketing, media, and recruitment vendors.

Budget and Operations Management

The Head of Marketing will oversee the marketing budget and operational standards. This includes:

  • Developing and managing the marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and measurable return on investment.
  • Providing accurate reporting and forecasting on recruitment performance, campaign effectiveness, and digital marketing impact.
  • Supporting the establishment of scalable marketing policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess a strong background in marketing strategy, planning, and lead generation. Specific requirements include:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven expertise across brand strategy, campaign development, media buying, digital marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, website development, content production, public relations, event management, sponsorships, market research & analytics, and marketing optimization.
  • Experience building and launching new consumer brands, preferably in startup or high-growth environments.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong agency and budget management experience.
  • Extensive experience with CRM systems, marketing automation tools, dashboards, and automated workflows.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A data-driven approach and an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and adaptability.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification is advantageous.

Work Context

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. While experience in education is preferred, candidates from competitive B2C sectors such as telecommunications, retail, banking, technology, or automotive are also encouraged to apply.
