The Opportunity: Founding Sales, Saudi Arabia

Alan is seeking its first Sales hire in Saudi Arabia for a full-time position based in Riyadh. This is a founding opportunity to establish Alan's commercial operations in the Kingdom. The individual in this role will be responsible for shaping the sales strategy, identifying target clients, and building relationships with companies interested in offering health solutions to their employees. This role requires an individual who can develop and implement a sales playbook rather than execute an existing one, with 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to discovery, product demonstration, offer building, and closing deals.
• Drive deals and close strategic opportunities with prospective clients.
• Educate prospects, provide product demonstrations, and onboard key stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from prospect to customer.
• Apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method, which focuses on providing an instructive (Smart) and personalized high-touch (Soft) experience for prospects.
• Contribute to the company's growth by providing market intelligence, prospect feedback, and local insights to product and strategy teams.
• Build Alan's local presence by engaging with HR Directors, CFOs, and C-level decision-makers.
• Shape the sales function in Saudi Arabia by establishing rituals, tools, and standards for future team members.
• Evangelize Alan's approach in the market, positioning the company as a trusted health partner for Saudi employers.
• Leverage and enrich global sales playbooks developed in other regions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Legally authorized to work for any employer in Saudi Arabia.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Riyadh.
• Saudi citizenship is required.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, close deals, and build new accounts, not solely manage existing ones.
• Highly autonomous, thriving in ambiguous and fast-moving environments.
• Analytical, organized, and rigorous in pipeline management.
• Possesses empathy and a genuine interest in understanding and solving client problems.
• Motivated by impact, ownership, and long-term value creation, rather than primarily by commissions.
• Experience level: 5-10 years.
