About the Role

Cielo Talent is seeking experienced Functional Consultants specializing in either Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM). This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting an established client in the healthcare and hospital network sector that is currently undergoing significant expansion across the Middle East. We are particularly interested in candidates available for immediate joining.

Responsibilities for HIS Functional Consultants

• Contribute to the adaptation of clinical workflows to align with Group standards.
• Ensure compliance with KSA healthcare regulations.
• Support the HIS roadmap and participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
• Configure clinical modules, including admission, patient records, pharmacy, and laboratory systems.
• Provide functional support to medical teams and end-users.
• Troubleshoot HIS-related issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
• Conduct testing, validation, and version upgrades of HIS.
• Document clinical workflows and functional specifications.
• Monitor HIS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as user adoption, incident rates, and SLA performance.
• Train key users and provide support to hospital sites.
• Coordinate effectively with ERP, interoperability, and RCM teams.

Responsibilities for RCM Functional Consultants

• Support the standardization of Revenue Cycle processes across various entities.
• Ensure alignment between clinical activity and billing processes.
• Contribute to revenue assurance and cash optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with NPHIES and KSA coding standards.
• Gather RCM requirements covering admission, coding, billing, claims, and collection.
• Translate gathered requirements into functional system configurations.
• Support testing, go-live phases, and ongoing operational support.
• Manage functional incidents and improvement requests within RCM.
• Coordinate with finance and operations teams.
• Monitor denials and NPHIES errors, conducting root-cause analysis.
• Track RCM KPIs, including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), clean claim rate, and rejection rate.
• Recommend actions to reduce denials and improve overall financial performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a functional consultant role, specifically within Hospital Information Systems (HIS) or Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
• Demonstrated expertise in the respective domain (HIS or RCM) as outlined in the responsibilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a full-time capacity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
