About the Associate Managing Consultant TRM Role

Invenio Business Solutions is seeking an Associate Managing Consultant with expertise in Tax & Revenue Management (TRM). This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires 5-10 years of experience and involves a blend of functional solutioning, client engagement, and team leadership. The role focuses on SAP Tax & Revenue Management solutions within an SAP S/4 HANA system environment.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Associate Managing Consultant will guide project teams to meet client requirements, focusing on SAP TRM and PSCD functionalities. This includes understanding business processes and challenges, applying SAP standard processes, and providing functional and technical expertise. The role involves close client interaction, leading or supporting workshops, capturing requirements, and identifying scope gaps. Responsibilities extend to supporting project managers with planning, deliverable specifications, and effort estimations. The consultant will also be accountable for solution delivery, ensuring smooth project success without escalations, and contributing to the overall business success of Invenio Business Solutions by sharing relevant information professionally and adhering to company ethics and culture codes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Undertake functional solution responsibilities for SAP TRM / PSCD.
  • Understand business processes and challenges, applying SAP standard processes where feasible.
  • Support project managers in task allocation, project planning, deliverable specification, and effort estimations.
  • Manage client interactions during workshops, meetings, and informal communications.
  • Lead or support workshops, ensuring all requirements are captured and aligned with the scope.
  • Clearly articulate requirements, identify gaps, and agree on potential additional scope with customers.
  • Provide clarity on additional scope and effort estimations to project managers.
  • Conduct or support meetings and provide regular updates to clients and project team members.
  • Identify and document all risks and mitigation processes within their solution area.
  • Support and prepare project deliverables and participate in project life cycle documentation.
  • Monitor and support progress of activities within their solution scope, taking timely actions to prevent delays.
  • Support or lead demo and Proof of Concept (PoC) preparations, conducting business process demonstrations.
  • Conduct required resource interviews for team identification and deployment.
  • Recommend business process improvements.
  • Provide solution and effort estimations for change requests.
  • Ensure overall functional accountability for solution delivery without escalations.
  • Prioritize the smooth success of the project.
  • Support management and contribute to business success by sharing relevant information professionally.
  • Maintain InvenioLSI's ethics and culture code in all engagements.
  • Participate in peer reviews and provide feedback to Practice Leads/Heads.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure feedback and recommendations are incorporated.
  • Actively participate in all TRM practice activities and support strategy/roadmap definition.
  • Proactively inform of project delays and seek mitigation strategies.
  • Seek additional support within the practice for knowledge gaps.
  • Participate in recruitment drives and conduct interviews to identify skilled resources.
  • Act as a role model, mentor, and guide for team consultants.
  • Design and develop new TRM solutions.
  • Coach and mentor team members.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in TRM project implementations.
  • Expert-level knowledge of SAP TRM and PSCD.
  • Excellent understanding of Tax Authority business processes and legislation.
  • Awareness of industry trends and a focus on becoming a thought leader in the area of expertise.
  • Exposure to new technologies in the SAP space for functional considerations.
  • Familiarity with multiple implementation methodologies such as ASAP, Activate, Waterfall, and Scrum.

Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to communicate confidently with clients, advise on appropriate solutions, and agree on effective ways forward.
  • Excellent communication skills across all areas (oral, aural, written).
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills, with an interest in developing consultants.
  • Strong presentation skills at all levels of client engagement.
  • Leadership and management capabilities for assigned team members.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role involves frequent communication with clients and project team members, requiring strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
