About the Role
Invenio Business Solutions is seeking an Associate Managing Consultant for Tax & Revenue Management (TRM) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in TRM project implementations, focusing on SAP solutions within an existing SAP S/4 HANA system environment.
Role Overview
The Associate Managing Consultant TRM role combines functional solutioning, client engagement, and team leadership. The position involves frequent communication with clients and project team members, with a primary focus on SAP Tax & Revenue Management solutions. This role requires guiding teams to meet customer requirements while considering functional and technical aspects of solution deployment. Additionally, the consultant will act as an individual contributor, leveraging expertise in taxation and accounting to add value to customer projects. Strong communication skills are essential for consulting on business processes related to tax declarations, such as Corporate Taxes, and for interacting with project teams to understand and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake functional solution responsibilities, considering SAP TRM and PSCD.
- Understand business processes and challenges, applying SAP standard processes where feasible.
- Support project managers with task delegation, project planning, deliverable specifications, and effort estimations.
- Manage client interactions during workshops, meetings, and informal communications.
- Lead or support workshops, ensuring all requirements are captured and aligned with the planned scope.
- Clearly articulate requirements, identify gaps, and agree on potential additional scope with the customer.
- Provide clarity on additional scope and effort estimations to project managers.
- Conduct or support meetings and provide regular updates to customers and project team members.
- Identify and document all risks and mitigation processes within their solution area.
- Support and prepare project deliverables and actively participate in project life cycle documentation from a solution perspective.
- Monitor and support the progress of activities within their solution scope, ensuring timely actions to prevent delays.
- Support or lead demo and proof of concept (PoC) preparations, and conduct business process demonstrations to clients.
- Recommend business process improvements where applicable.
- Provide solution and effort estimations for change requests.
- Support management and contribute to business success by sharing relevant information professionally.
- Participate in peer reviews of other projects and provide feedback to Practice Leads/Heads.
- Ensure feedback and recommendations are incorporated and monitored by project team members.
- Actively participate in all TRM practice activities and support strategy and roadmap definition.
- Proactively communicate project delays and seek mitigation strategies.
- Seek additional support within the practice for knowledge gaps.
- Participate in recruitment drives and conduct interviews to identify suitable resources.
- Design and develop new TRM solutions to expand the product catalog.
Accountabilities and Leadership
The role holds overall functional accountability for solution delivery within their project, aiming for successful outcomes without escalations. Ensuring the smooth success of the project is a top priority. The consultant is expected to uphold the ethics and culture code of InvenioLSI in all interactions. Furthermore, they will serve as a role model, mentor, and guide for consultants within their team, providing coaching and support.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 8+ years of experience in TRM project implementations.
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP TRM and PSCD.
- Excellent understanding of Tax Authority business processes and legislation.
- Awareness of industry trends and a focus on becoming a thought leader in their area of expertise.
- Exposure to new technologies in the SAP space for functional considerations.
- Experience with multiple implementation methodologies such as ASAP, Activate, Waterfall, and Scrum.
- Ability to communicate confidently with customers, advise on appropriate solutions, and agree on an effective way forward.
- Excellent communication skills across all areas (oral, aural, written).
- Strong coaching and leadership skills with an interest in developing consultants.
- Strong presentation skills at all levels of customer engagement.
- Leadership and management capabilities for assigned team members.
