About the Role

DXC Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP Subject Matter Expert to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable, and cost-effective Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions for enterprise and retail IT environments. You will play a key role in leading cloud migration strategies and ensuring the seamless integration of various third-party services with GCP. This role demands a proactive approach to troubleshooting, a deep understanding of cloud security and governance, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. You will be instrumental in driving innovation and maintaining the highest standards of performance and availability for our GCP infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective GCP solutions tailored for enterprise and retail IT environments.
• Lead comprehensive cloud migration strategies, encompassing the meticulous planning and execution of workload transitions to GCP.
• Develop and maintain robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Integrate essential third-party services, including Active Directory, ServiceNow, backup solutions, antivirus software, and FinOps tools, with the GCP environment.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex GCP infrastructure issues to ensure optimal high availability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to implement efficient CI/CD pipelines and manage GKE-based container orchestration.
• Ensure stringent security, compliance, and governance across all GCP environments.
• Continuously stay updated with the latest GCP service enhancements and evolving industry best practices.
• Provide support for Windows and Linux operating system installation and troubleshooting.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and extensive experience.
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3 years of dedicated experience working on GCP projects.
• Proven expertise in leveraging GCP native SaaS and PaaS services.
• Hands-on experience in cloud migration, infrastructure automation, and implementing DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in using Terraform, Deployment Manager, and various CI/CD tools.
• A strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), and GCP security frameworks.
• Good understanding of GCP database services, including Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Firestore, and Cloud Spanner.
• Experience with both Windows and Linux system administration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.
• Possession of the GCP Professional Cloud Architect certification is mandatory.
